Wallpaper Flow appears in the editorial of Koax Magazine
Robots and computing systems are influencing the future design field in many ways, from architecture, furniture and home accessories to fashion.
Automation, complex data management, production, customization, aesthetics… All of this is having an impact in our lives and some brands and designers are working under these parameters.
Koax Magazine has published an editorial about this exciting subject and the photographer Guillermo Junquera has captured perfectly the essence of the concept. Wallpaper Flow, designed by Gerard Puxhe, has been chosen as part of this attached photo by the magazine to show a futuristic environment.
In this set, stools designed by Ross Lovegrove for Nagami and the outfit by Yvan Andreu are also included.
“Science fiction and our technological imaginary try to invent a future that show us different alternatives to our lifestyle. We have the ability to imagine and create the world we want to live in. Who knew that technology would develop so fast in such a short space of time. In all these changes, fashion has never been left behind.
We have incorporated the machine, the robot in our day to day, from coffee in the morning to the digital platform at night. Science and technology are not only applied in the most textile part, but it inspires many designers to consider the utility and design of the garment in the coming decades, or perhaps centuries.” Koax Magazine
Future is here and we are ready to work with him. Koax’s editorial wanted to reflect through this editorial how the robot has acquired a role in our lifestyle. The place chosen for this occasion has been the Nagami factory, where furniture and design items are produced with recycled plastics using 3D printing robots, such as the robotic arms that you can see in the pictures.
They have had the designer Yvan Andreu who has offered them his designs to shine in this shooting. From the hand of the photographer Guillermo Junquera, who worked with a different atmosphere.
